I was a huge fan ever since I saw her "Sleep to dream" video. She was and is so real and honest. And now I can't get enough of her. As corny as it sounds, she gives me a lot of hope for my future and makes me feel at peace with myself, my mind, my life, and the world around me. She is the person I have always aspired to learn from and be.
I don't want to be her, but she has so many amazing qualities and gifts...things I have always wanted for myself, and I love learning from her. She gets me to feel okay about stating what I think, and speaking my mind and being confident about it. She makes me think differently and makes me feel that no matter what I do that I may later regret, or no matter what hard stuff I have to go through, that she's been through it already. And that just makes me feel better about my whole life. I think most people misunderstand her, too. she is just like all of us and they still manage to think she's a brat or an ungrateful little bitch, but even though I've never met her, I know what she's about and it so annoying when people have bad things to say about her.. she actually means a whole lot to me and I'm sure everyone can relate to her one way or another:)

she fills a void deep within me when i am enjoying her music. i idolize her in so many ways. she inspires me, she gave me the ambition to write good music. she's more than a bitch, she's the bitch. she is a statement in herself. she doesn't "dick around" and she isn't necessarily precise, i truly admire that about her. her sound is timeless.

meeting Fiona: so far only in my dreams, but I'm working on it.

Interesting collections: Nothing really out of the ordinary. bootlegs, rare posters, mag. clippings, but mostly original stuff that I made on my computer.

What Fi means to me: Every morning when I wake up I am staring at a poster of Fi on my ceiling. It is inspiration I guess. To be what I want to be, and never give up. Her resilience, how real she is, how inspiring she is to me musically. When I am listening to Fi my deepest emotions are brought out. How she has changed my life? I wouldn't say that she has. I have learned a lot from her and her music though.

While I have known about Fiona as an artist, I had never familiarize myself with her music...to really dig in and find out if this was another flash-in-the-pan musician or a really talented young woman. I was amazed at what I discovered. Fiona is a truly talented, brilliant person. Her lyrics are so well organized and eloquent...she really knows how to assert herself. I admire her strength and honesty, which flow through her music and into the hearts of her listeners. About a month ago, I was blessed with the opportunity to attend her concert in Seattle. It was well worth the trip! She is even better in concert than on her CD's (which I believe to be a mark of a truly great musician). I was absolutely delighted! I look forward to enjoying many more releases from this amazing woman, whom I am certain will have a long and inspiring career. Thank you for the music you are willing to share with us, Fiona! Thank you for a piece of your heart and soul!

Fiona makes me feel better about some of the situations I've been in. And your life doesn't always have to be perfect to be good one. And though not everything she says in her music is meant in a depressing bad experience way, I can partly relate to the things she speaks about and interpret them in my own way.
