There are some feelings in this world that seem to have no words attached to them to describe them properly in their full.  Many of them are some of what Fiona means to me.  By far, one of the most beautiful people i've ever seen...  Inside as well as outside.  There is a bond I have with her music that no other music can match (...barely even my own!).  To whatever extent you can care for someone you've never had the privilege of meeting, I have that for her.  Some people do not understand that, but those "some people" have never experienced it.  She makes me smile.  She makes me cry, and laugh at the same time.  I feel proud to of heard her music and be able to dive into her soul a bit by listening to her songs.  I wish her continued success in whatever she desires, and have nothing but high hopes in what she has in store for herself and her fans.  I hope she can ignore the fame, but not take it for granted... and be able to handle it -- letting it let her be happy for the rest of her life.  She deserves it.    :)       ~Coz

3 years ago, Fiona gave me a reason to start writing poetry... By listening to Tidal, I felt that I could express my emotions in words as well. Over the years I have stopped writing.. But now that I've heard she is working on her new album.. I've started up writing again, and they've been more powerful with age. My close friend, whom I share some of those poems with said to me, and will be in my head forever, "You could be the next Fiona Apple." I'm thinking about turning those poems into songs, and I want Fiona to know, that she has given such Great inspiration and changed this girl's life forever... Thanks so much Fiona! I love you! :)   ~*Andrea*~

I love Fiona. It seems like every emotion I feel, or will ever feel she shares. Her music means so much to me. She is a brilliant woman who deserves more respect then she often gets. I would love to meet her or even receive a letter from her! I am a big fan of her art. Lesly Wymer

I have to say that Fiona Apple is my absolute favorite musician. I can relate with her at the deep levels that she entails to every measure.. I think the reason being is due to us having  somewhat of a mirrored past. I have gone through some of the same things as her., at least the ones I have read about., and this is probably the reason her music hits home with me so well., I do wish however., that I could express myself the way she is able to., I admire her for that. I love her voice., her lyrics., the music ., her attitude., absolutely everything about her!  She is the greatest!

My first fiona concert was at the tower. oh, it was amazing...her voice is just as breathtakingly beautiful live as it is recorded. most performances are different, the performers recordings have been fixed up but fiona is a born entertainer. i was sobbing after that show, because i can relate line by line to her lyrics. If it wasnt for her music, i wouldnt be here. i know i wouldnt, and at least i have this to pull me through.

I absolutely love Fiona Apple. I adore her music, she is so amazing. When I listen to her music it's like I'm connecting to something, like someone finally understands. I have been writing songs since I was 8, and once when I was 12 I showed my songs to someone and they said it reminded them of Fiona Apple. I also sang for someone and they told me I sounded alot like her. If so, then I feel very proud of myself. If you read this Fiona, I love you and thank you so much!!!

I started listening to Fiona when I was about 14.  It was during that time that I was beginning to struggle with myself and who I really was, and it was a dark time.  But Fiona's music made my confusion and loneliness seem a lot easier to cope with.  She helped me understand that SO many people feel that way and that you shouldn't be ashamed of who you really are.  During that time I  frequently visited the Adagio Breezes website and chatroom (i dunno if any of you remember it, but it was quite popular until it shut down) Anyway, I met some great people there and want to meet new Fiona fans so if anyone wants to talk about anything, email me!

When i started listening to Fiona, it was the best thing that ever happened to me.  She inspired me to be myself and "go with yourself."  Before i realized her, i felt lost and confused and now I understand that there are other people out there just like me.  When i'm feeling confused, I turn on her music, and it sounds just like she knows how i'm feeling, and I can relate to her.  She is a beautiful person, mind, soul, and physically.

I can't pinpoint exactly the first time I ever heard Fiona's music, but I do remember hearing bits of her songs when they first came out, and I was drawn to her soulful voice and powerful lyrics. I was young then, and not very adventurous when it came to new music. Since it wasn't what my friends were listening to, I ignored my fascination. I'm so glad that I finally acted on my curiosity and bought her cd WTP this year (2001) because I just love her music. After about a week, I knew all the words by heart, and I couldn't function unless I bought her cd Tidal and heard those songs, too. This all happened this past summer, the summer before I began college. I can't even imagine how I was before I discovered Fiona. I know for certain that her music has opened up new worlds for me and in immersing myself in the poetry of her songs, I look inward and am beginning to find myself. I'm going through a tough time right now, a time when I'm questioning a lot about myself and testing my emotional strength daily. I know Fiona's music is helping me to pull through. Any time life starts to get too much for me, I reach into my memory for one of her songs, and I'm in another place entirely. ("But it's calm under the waves/In the blue of my oblivion"). Fiona, you are a musical genius and whether you know it or not, you've been a true emotional healer. Thank you for your inspirational music. I look forward to anything new you may write.
