Hi,  My name is Andrea Wilhelm, I live in New Jersey. I discovered Fiona about a week after her album came out, and it's been about 3 years now that I have just been enraptured with her! I have a lot of posters of her, including the Rolling Stone cover that she did, some imports, and of course, her press release pose from Sony. I also have a bootleg of a concert that I was supposed to see in Boston on Oct. 8th in Boston at the Orpheum Theatre....but who doesn't have bootlegs?

I saw her in a restaurant in SoHo in December of 98. My friend had gotten up to go to the restroom, and I saw a group of people sit down in a booth across the room. I noticed that one of them looked an awful lot like Fiona, and I looked a little bit closer and realized that it WAS Fiona!!!! One of the people with her noticed that I was looking at her, and told Fiona, and from then on, she stared at me, she made eye contact with me, and I got embarrassed that I was looking at her while she was trying to enjoy her time out...so I never went to say hello, but that's my story.
  I love Fiona so much because she has really helped me to discover who I am, and to realize that I don't need to be whoever I think everyone else would like me to be...this has been priceless to me, I am so much happier feeling comfortable in my own skin. Also, she motivated me to be a good vegetarian...Fiona is a great role model for vegetarians! I just signed up to be a member of PETA. So that's my story...

I don't really know how to start these things but I love Fiona and her music and I want to find other friends in my area that feel the same way as I do.  My favorite songs off of TIDAL are "The First Taste" and "NIAP"  I have never met Fiona and I have never seen her in concert so I don't have much to share w/ that.  I do have 4 bootlegs though.  So I listen to them and imagine that I am there.  I can't wait until her new album and hopefully she'll tour soon.  I also have a painting of Fiona that I did and was in an art show.  I have one all set up and ready to sell if anyone is interested.  I won't have a copy of it posted on the net until another month or so.  E-mail me if you are interested in talking to me.  I love meeting new friends and Fiona fans.

When i listen to fiona there is this feeling i cant describe that comes over me.. Her voice is hypnotizing.. and it makes me feel calm, and at peace sometimes.. I know that if i wanted to get away from life jus for a minute i can just listen her and i would escape.. if i had the chance to meet fiona i would thank her for her beats as well as her words that have made me feel sort of serene.. fiona has been my inspiration for a few years now; i first heard of her when i was only 16 while reading her name in a horrible philadelphia inquirer's review... and thought to myself "wow, at 19 i hope i could even get BAD reviews for my own cd..." i'm now 19 and not close to that point but oh, how i wish every day.  i bought the cd regardless of the review and immediately - at one hearing only - fell in love with fiona.  her voice flows, her rhythms enchant, and her melodies mesmerize... i am not only inspired but greatly jealous of her and her talent, and i wish that one day i can meet her and shake the hand (perhaps even hug?) of the woman with the incredible mind and heart for magical music.

what more can i say except that i love her.  she has provided me with so much inspiration. she is not only a musical artists but a talented, intelligent, writer and i have this immense respect for her because of it.  her lyrics and music have helped me to remain strong and peaceful during the not-so-good times in my life.  she has molded me into this better person than i would otherwise be today.

I Love fiona apple soo much. I sit in my room all day i i sing every one of her songs over and over again. I don't think i've ever been any more moved by another artist like I have been with her. I would walk across burning hot coals to meet her, without hesitation. Sometimes i cry just thinking of the fact that i'll never meet her, even though she is the person who has influenced me most in life. I LoVe Her so much as an artist.
