I saw Fiona in concert a few days after my 20th birthday. I will remember it the rest of my life. There is something about her that is so mystical. Her music will always bring a smile to my face in any circumstance.

i came close to buying fiona's first album several times but never did. i guess all the hype and backlash kind of put me off. however, as soon as i heard "fast as you can", i went out and bought the new cd, and i have to say that i became addicted to it within 2 days. there should be no doubt now that fiona will be around for a long time, and i hope for her sake that with this wonderful new album, people will finally focus on her incredible musical talent and forget about all the bullshit. i have always found fiona compelling as a person, but now i can also say that i find her music inspiring, both musically and personally. her phrasing and rawness both seem to me to be a bit more refined this time around, and that makes this new album a real treasure. rock on.
