I LOVE Fiona because she has inspired me to be my own person...and she really has helped me grow up... I love her voice and her music, and her lyrics.. they are so poetic.. I think that she is beautiful in every way... and also, I found my soul mate thanks to her..... it's a long story, but the way we met was because we both had a love for Fiona.... and so thanks to Fiona, I have found the person that means the world to me.... <3 Kailin

I've firmly been a fan almost since Fiona debuted. Upon hearing Shadowboxer for the first time, I was attracted to her dusky, lofty voice accompanied by pounding pianoscapes, exuding the subtle, yet powerful, True Beauty she bears. Her insightful words reflect on sadness, misgivings, solitude, desire, and self-awareness panchromatically; the intensity, tranquility, and brilliance such a rarity. All of Tidal and Fiona herself has irreversibly inflicted upon me the most sacred and beautiful wound to be bared eternally.

Looking forward to the new album, and hopefully a tour.  Fiona is an Angel, with a voice like that she has to be.  Her lyrics and her voice move me emotionally.  I am honored to have met her, and cherish the picture she took with me.  I wish Fiona endless success which she truly deserves.

my connection to fiona is something deep and special to me, i feel that she has something in her, something about her that can move me to tears. her voice and lyrics are simply beautiful and speak to your ear, but more importantly - your soul. she's an incredible writer and singer - and is "wise beyond her years" (i hate that phrase!)

for some reason, listening to "never is a promise" (pretty ironic - that's the site's name) is always an emotional thing to me because it touches me no matter what's going on in my life it just makes me stop, and think, and eventually just break down. thinking about it is doing it to me now.

if ever fiona was to meet me i think she would be glad to know that her music is crossing what some refer to as "racial barriers" i'm african american, so i'm not the "typical" fiona fan - but i loudly tell of my love and admiration for her and her music, and everything she stands for. she's an amazing person and i have nothing but love and respect for her. i wish her the best of luck in everything she does . . . no matter what it is!

If I can be trite for a second, I connect with Fiona as a soul sister, friend, partner in crime and, I have been told, we look alot alike. I would love to meet her one day to speak about life, love, lipstick and panties. Who knows if I will ever get my chance, but I can surely try.

Fiona & her music grab a nerve in me. There's kind of like a dark but elegant feel 2 her music. Kind of like Tori Amos, but in a more jazzy, smooth way. Kind of like hanging out in some jazzy-coffee bar type of music with the piano and everything. Fiona is an incredibly eloquent writer, she stands out far above many artists who have been hanging even longer than her. The new album is terrific; totally mesmerizing & moving. Virgo Sun, Virgo Moon isn't a bad combination since Fiona has it. Both her ego/id go hand in hand & create a no-nonsense, driven person. Keep on bringing them on smoothly girl...

Fiona is a word that slides off my tongue and into my heart.  She has shared more and helped more than anyone can imagine.  Her soulful inspiration has reminded me of the beauty of love, life and even pain.
Thank you Fiona...the connection I feel for you is neverending...and if the whole world could just open their eyes and embrace your passion-we might all just live in a happier environment.
Thank you again.
My complete love and support always,

Fiona Apple opened up the world for me. As melodramatic as I know it sounds, her lyrics ripped me out of my pretty-girl world and into reality. I write a lot of poetry, and it used to be
all about the silver stars in the moonlit sky. Now, I'm INSPIRED. I want to do exactly what she's doing now: write my own music, accompany myself on piano, cut a few albums. She is someone I admire so much for the honesty and vulnerability she radiates. I have never seen her in concert, and it sucks because she's not coming to Florida on her tour. But I'll see her someday, if it kills me!

In the Army, we are required to be completely reserved and professional virtually every moment of every day.  In life, we are required to be reserved and professional virtually every moment of every day.

Fiona represents a form of expression without reservation, without fear of repercussion.

I would give my soul in return for just one moment to feel an emotion as pure and honest as any that she sings or writes about, regardless of how sorrowful.

she is who i am inside. When i listen to the music i can't help but sob. Every since i saw her at House of Blues, Lake Buena Vista; i knew we were linked. She probably would think i was just another crazed fan. So many people feel connected to her. I just hope we all get to be what we want. It sounds so corny. I just can't find the eloquent words that i used to be able to use before i saw her at House of Blues.
now i am barren.

I was lucky enough to meet Fiona Apple on April 14, 2000. It was the best day of my entire life. I love Fiona so much. I have been listening to her since 96 and saw her in 97. She just does something to me that I can't explain. She has helped me through so much. I feel like she knows me better then anyone yet she doesn't know me at all.

She was really nice and she talked to me from the stage. it was the most awesome experience anyone can ever have. (i posted my story on the tour reviews)

Fiona is one of my most favourite musicians. I am a musician myself. Some people told me I look like her, and my mom told me I sound like her when I sing...  Fiona really helped me through a lot (many people say this) and both of her CDs are very much of a soundtrack to my life. Well.. what else can I say. Fiona rocks!!! I really admire her way of performing songs, she's not afraid to show real emotions. If people don't get it, it's their fucking problem:)

Fiona pulled me out a dark place in my life--she did more for me than traditional therapy or meds did. I will always love her and appreciate her for all that she and all that she has done--whether or not she knows how much she impacted my life. I will never forget the truth she has shared and the passion she has expressed.

What does Fiona not mean to me?  In a word: triumph.  She has helped me get over things I thought I couldn't.  She helped me realize that I am worth being alive because I have stayed alive these short 16 years.  There is no way to explain how beautiful of a person she is.  So, to my first inspiration, Fiona, Thank you.

So almost two years have passed since I did this and fiona is still such a big part of my heart.  When the Pawn is a brilliant piece of work and it is a shame that Fiona didn't get more credit for it. The way she commands and uses words still astound me, and I can only wish that she will provide us with more and more of her brilliant songs.  I have so many strong memories with each song, each one evokes times, places, scents, pictures, feelings in me so strongly, that I know fiona's music will be a life long friend to me.

With the deepest of gratitude.. I say thank you fiona.

Fiona is the most amazing person! She writes her songs as though divinely inspired, has the voice (and the face) of an angel, yet seems to have such a playfully mischievous spirit. Her lyrics touch my soul, and her music moves me like few musicians can do. Not many songs really play on the emotions (and isn't that what they're supposed to do?) like "Fast as You Can", or "I Know". Fiona draws you into her world, makes you see what she sees, and feel what she feels. May God continue to bless you in your music, and us with your presence. I love you, Fiona!
